The Critics Choice Awards will take place on 8 January. At the top of appointments, which have just been announced there is The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (The strange story of Benjamin Button with Brad Pitt, Cate Blanchett and Tilda Swinton) and Milk, by Gus Van Sant with Sean Penn and James Franco . Then The Dark Knight in Christopher Nolan with Christian Bale, Heath Ledger and Michael Caine, Slumdog Millionaire by Danny Boyle and Doubt with Meryl Streep and Philip Seymour Hoffman.
