Beijing 2008: wave to the Web video
Web 2.0 - On the occasion of the Olympic Games in Beijing, Panasonic has launched a very funny line: the World Wide Wave, a "wave" Global Internet videos.
To participate in the World Wide Wave is easy: just offer a video of you doing the wave solo.
Panasonic will add you to the site and you will highlight in "This week's passion wavers."
Participants are ordered by seat number in the stands of this gigantic virtual stadium and the site lets you find your friends by seat number, assigned according to your date of participation.
To date, nearly 900 surfers participated in this initiative.
