His wife, Katie (Tilda Swinton) is appalled but not particularly surprised: it maintains a liaison with Harry Pfarrer (George Clooney), a police officer married, and she intends to leave her husband for it.

Production

Joel Coen explains: "We have written this scenario as we adapt No Country for Old Men." His brother, Ethan Coen, added: "We had the idea to write roles for actors that we wanted to mix and we thought about George Clooney, Richard Jenkins, Frances McDormand and Brad Pitt. We had already worked with them, with the exception of Brad Pitt and we thought it would be interesting to gather around a story. "

Joel says: "We had already shot twice with George and Richard and four times with Frances. Like Brad, John Malkovich is someone with whom we had never worked, but with whom we wanted to work for some time. So we wrote the role of John specially for him, and we had a lot of fun to do. "

What they say ...

"Despite the fact that the film takes place in Washington DC, is the story of people who are awfully stupid things completely idiotic, especially in matters of sex. What makes it even more interesting is that these are not even politicians! As soon as the Coen brothers called me, I knew he had to agree. After all, they will continue to provide the roles that n'imagine that we are able to interpret. "George Clooney

"It's 25 years that I work with Joel and Ethan. Their first film [Blood Simple] was my first film. I do not know why they make me do what they do to me. But it's always worth the trouble. "Frances McDormand

"I did not think my character would be a fool finished a mâcheur chewing gum, a Gatorade drinker, an increase in iPod whose brain is completely empty. I told Ethan and Joel: 'It is so stupid!' Well, he has a big heart. In fact, this role will break my career! (Laughs) "Brad Pitt

"Ozzie is so stupid that it was a pleasure to interpret - especially the scene where he turns. And then I spend a lot of time to shout and play the guy completely drunk. "John Malkovich

We enjoy a good time. This story is not unrealistic; miserable characters, empty, manipulated by the prevailing system (Buah! What kind of world we live!). Scenario tight and rhythmic. Roles composition played very well by most players. Awesome John and Frances. Brad hilarious. Either we would have liked again and again.

Thank you comment. Critics are so far very mixed, making it more interesting comments from viewers.

Well the film has not rained but fundamentally it is true that found the Coen Touch, black humor and surprising sequences. Especially with Brad Pitt and George Clooney who, in one moment, grinds the viewer, transforming the simple comedy in a human drama. Coen a minor but not interesting. Go and see for judging.
