Flowgram: a tool that mixes photos, podcasts, social networks and sharing links

Flowgram is a tool, still in beta, which is the perfect illustration of an intelligent use of Web 2.0. Imagine a mix of podcasting, photo gallery, social networking and sharing of links and you begin to get an idea of what you can do it!

This is a week that we play with Flowgram a revolutionary piece of software, discovered on the blog of Joi Ito, who is involved in this project.

As this service completely free, is still in closed beta, some features are not yet fully operational, but the tour that we offer gives you a pretty good idea of what you can do.

The site may be in English, the instructions are simple and intuitive navigation enough to understand that quickly what to do.

The first step is to copy the link to the web page you want to show (it is possible to choose an RSS feed, photos from Facebook, of Flick or your hard drive):

A snapshot of the page appears. You have several options, depending on what you want to do: either continue to enter all the links that interest you, or you focus on the page you selected.

If you choose this second option, then you have the choice, selecting the snapshot, recording an audio commentary, adding a note or highlight certain passages that you want to highlight ...

... Like this:

You add as many pages as you want, as many notes, links, photos you want.

If you choose to add an RSS feed (as in the example above), you have the option to choose a display tickets or complete summaries. A page will be created by ticket included in the stream selected.

You will have noticed a reference time of 10 seconds for each page selected. This time is given for illustrative purposes only (it's time there before Flowgram displays the following content), it is not the time you have to talk. Indeed, you can turn the page on "pause" to express yourself as long as you want.

You can also, at any time by simply dragging, changing the order of selected content.

This is our first Flowgram and I guarantee that this will not last
